Galaxy Z Flip7 FE and Z Flip7 Renders Leak

Even though I’ve spent a lot more time here covering the Galaxy Z Fold7, I have to acknowledge that the Galaxy Z Flip series is the better selling of the two. Coming in at darn near a grand less expensive and in a form factor that more people probably enjoy, the Z Flip has been Samsung’s entry point into foldables nearly from the start.

Now, with the seventh generation of Flips Samsung is rumored to have a new trick up their sleeve - a cheaper variant. SammyGuru is reporting in collaboration with known tech tipster OnLeaks that this cheaper Fan Edition of the Z Flip7 is going to look a whole lot like the Z Flip6 and that’s not a bad thing. Featuring a large 3.4-inch cover display and a 6.7-inch inner display, the Flip7 FE should come in at a sub-$1000 price as well.

Specs

  • 3.4-inch Cover Display

  • 6.7-inch Inner Display

  • 165.1 x 71.7 x 7.4mm

  • Exynos 2400e (Possibly)

  • 50MP Primary

  • 12MP Ultrawide

  • One UI 7

  • “Affordable Price”

While the Galaxy Z Fold7 occupies the premium segment, the anticipated Galaxy Z Flip7 FE presents a compelling proposition for broader market adoption. Should Samsung successfully introduce a sub-$1000 foldable device with the specified features, it would represent a significant advancement in accessibility within the foldable category. This strategic move aims to expand the consumer base and reinforces Samsung's dedication to diversifying its product portfolio to cater to a wider range of price points.

Of course, there’s not Z Flip7 FE without a standard Z Flip7 and this year Samsung has once again made a big change to the cover display. Both cameras will now punch their way through the large 4-inch cover display much the same was as Moto’s Razr phones already do.

Specs

  • 4-inch Cover Display

  • 6.8-inch Inner Display

  • 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm

  • Exynos 2500 (Possibly)

  • 12GB RAM

  • 50MP Primary

  • 12MP Ultrawide

  • One UI 7

  • Likely $1099
