Oppo Find N5 Receives 15.0.1.203 Update
After a fairly sizeable day one patch, the Oppo Find N5 has now already received it’s second update. The list of changes is fairly short, but does mention improvements to the camera performance. It’s unclear exactly what they mean here - they could be referring to the performance of using the camera app or they could mean that the photos should look better.
I took a couple photos before the update and tried to replicate them after and saw very little difference. In both instances it’s very hard to see any significant difference, leading me to believe no significant tuning adjustment has occurred.
I have found the n5’s camera to produce shots that unnaturally bright and a bit overly sharp, hopefully future updates address that to some degree, but for now the processing looks the same to my eye.

Smooth Sailing
In my brief experience, the N5 has been a remarkably smooth device and with a few hours of use after this update I see very little change. Still, it’s good to see Oppo being so on-the-ball with these minor fixes and hopefully this is a sign of the kind of support to come.
