Our Best Look Yet at The Oppo Find N6 and Honor Magic V6

The battle for foldable supremacy is heating up as new leaks provide our most detailed look yet at the OPPO Find N6 and the Honor Magic V6. Both devices are shaping up to be massive upgrades over their predecessors, with refined designs and top-tier specifications that aim to challenge the current market leaders.

OPPO Find N6: Refined Design and Camera Overhaul

New images of the OPPO Find N6 reveal a design that stays true to its predecessor but introduces significant internal and camera improvements. The most notable change on the back of the device is the addition of a fourth sensor in the camera housing. This appears to be a color sensor, similar to what has been rumored for Honor’s latest device, designed to help the camera render more accurate colors.

The camera hardware is seeing a substantial boost. While the telephoto lens remains similar, the primary camera is rumored to feature a 200MP sensor. The ultrawide lens is also getting a much-needed upgrade from a small 8MP sensor to a more robust 50MP sensor. Internally, the Find N6 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, though reports suggest it may have one core disabled, a move seen in previous generations.

Honor Magic V6: Premium Aesthetics and Massive Batteries

The Honor Magic V6 has also surfaced in real-world photos, showcasing a stunning wine-red vegan leather finish with gold accents. The design appears even thinner than the Magic V5, with a slightly reduced camera bump that utilizes a chamfered edge to blend into the back of the phone more seamlessly.

Honor is focusing heavily on endurance and charging. Leaked certification documents suggest the Magic V6 will support 80W fast charging, with some speculation pointing toward a higher-end model capable of 120W. The battery capacities are impressive, with rumors of a 6,850mAh battery for the standard model and a massive 7,150mAh battery for a high-end version featuring satellite connectivity. It is worth noting that the global variant typically features a slightly smaller battery than the Chinese versions.

Both companies are reportedly aiming for a "creaseless" display experience. Rumors suggest that new hinge technologies and thicker ultra-thin glass are being used to minimize the visibility of the screen crease. Additionally, Honor may introduce an anti-reflective coating on the inner screen, which would help hide the crease by reducing the light reflections that often highlight it.

As the foldable market becomes increasingly competitive, these two devices are expected to officially launch in early March. With Honor's larger battery and full-power processor versus OPPO’s more well-rounded camera system, the next few months will be a fascinating time for foldable enthusiasts.
