The Honor Magic V6 Might Just Be the One

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the Honor Magic V6 rumors for a while now, and things are finally moving from "engineering prototype" territory into something more official. The early leaks teased a total battery monster, but new certifications have dropped even more details on how Honor is planning to take over MWC 2026 next month.

Honor has officially locked in March 1, 2026, for the Magic V6's big global debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona marking a major shift from their usual schedule. This launch is significantly earlier than previous years, likely to steal some thunder from the summer foldable rush. They’re also bringing a "Robot Phone" concept to the show that supposedly has a camera on a literal robotic arm, just in case a 7,000mAh foldable wasn't enough…

The biggest news this week comes from China’s 3C certification database, where the V6 (model numbers PNM-AN10 and PNM-AN20) just popped up. The listing confirms it’ll support 80W fast wired charging. That’s a big jump from the 66W we saw on the Magic V5 and pretty much guarantees it’ll be the fastest-charging book-style foldable out there. The "PNM-AN20" model number is apparently a BeiDou-3 satellite edition.

The latest leaks from Digital Chat Station have clarified exactly how massive these batteries will be, though it looks like there is a slight split between the China and Global models. The post reveals two dual-cell configurations: a global-facing setup with 6,700mAh minimum and a 6,900mAh typical capacity, and a beefier likely China-exclusive version hitting a 7,200mAh typical capacity. The Magic V5 is running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, so performance is going to be top-tier for gaming and productivity alike. The primary camera is said to be getting upgraded to a 200MP sensor. The tele is at least staying at 3x, but it’s unknown if the sensor itself is changing. Despite that huge battery, the rumor is it will actually be thinner and lighter than the V5 thanks to a new fiberglass body that keeps things pocketable.

Something that might get the attention of some Galaxy Z Fold users is that Honor is reportedly working on a next-generation "multispectral" stylus for the V6. While details are still a bit thin, early rumors suggest this won't be just a standard pen.

On paper, the Honor Magic V6 looks to be a cut above the other foldables coming in 2026 with a massive battery, insanely fast charging and a newly upgraded primary camera. However, it is not the only powerhouse hitting the market this March. The Oppo Find N6 is also tipped for a global debut, and while its 6,000mAh battery and rumored 80W charging do not quite match the beefy specs of the V6, it has a massive trick up its sleeve for photography fans. Oppo is reportedly planning to include a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, a hardware leap that could finally bring professional-grade zoom to the folding world and make it a very tempting alternative for anyone who prioritizes optics over pure endurance.
