These Titan 2 Elite Leaks Are Getting Interesting..

January is typically a slow month for tech news, with many creators seeing a seasonal dip in views as the post-holiday lull sets in. However, 2026 is turning out to be a record-breaking month for my channel, and it’s all thanks to a sudden, massive surge in interest for physical keyboard phones. From the announcement of the Clicks Communicator to my review of the Unihertz Titan 2, the numbers show that people are hungry for tactile buttons again.

Real-World Photos of the Titan 2 Elite

While we previously only had renders to go on, actual live images of the Titan 2 Elite have finally surfaced in the Titan 2 Facebook group. These photos effectively shut down speculation that the phone was just a "rush job" response to the Clicks Communicator. The leaked images confirm the phone is a real device currently being tested by users. Looking at the hardware design, the device features a volume rocker on the left side and a microphone hole positioned somewhat unsightliness on the front rather than the bottom. The display includes a hole punch selfie camera in the corner. Current pre-production software shows some alignment issues where the clock is slightly obscured by the screen curve, which indicates a need for more padding in the UI. Unihertz is expected to fully show off the Titan 2 Elite at Mobile World Congress in March with review units likely shipping shortly after.

The Collaboration Rumors: Clicks vs. Unihertz

One of the most interesting threads currently circulating is the idea that Clicks Technology and Unihertz might be working together behind the scenes. An interesting accusation surfaced in a Facebook group for the iKKO Mind One, claiming that Clicks is actually developing their device in collaboration with Unihertz. The evidence for a possible partnership often points to economies of scale, such as the fact that both the Titan 2 Elite and the Clicks Communicator feature an identical 4.03 inch AMOLED screen with a top left hole punch camera.

Historical context further fuels this theory, as Unihertz has a history of sourcing existing parts, such as using old BlackBerry Passport screens for the original Titan 2 to keep costs down. Furthermore, CrackBerry Kevin, a co-founder of Clicks, visited Unihertz in October and met with their founder for what he described as an enlightening conversation. While some members of the community have tried to dispel these rumors by citing older interviews, it is important to remember those conversations happened months before these new devices were even announced.

Whether it is a formal partnership or just a shared agreement to buy the same specialized screen to lower prices, a collaboration would actually be a win for consumers. The Unihertz Titan 2 Elite is expected to be fully unveiled in March at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, and while its official price remains a mystery, it is likely to be released sometime in the first half of the year. Meanwhile, the Clicks Communicator is currently available for reservation at a special price of $399, which locks in a $499 MSRP, with shipping expected to begin later in 2026. After years of scavenging for recycled parts, these two brands are proving that the only way to escape the post-pandemic glass slab monopoly is to change the way niche hardware is made.
