Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphones with a new version of One UI based on Android 16. The move marks a welcome shift after many users expressed frustration regarding the delayed rollout of the current One UI 7 (Android 15) update. Even now, most Samsung users are waiting for One UI 7 to bring Android 15 to their devices, months and months after Google rolled the update out. To make matters worse, the S24 series launched with One UI 7 several months back and yet the older devices are still left waiting.

The Galaxy S25 was supposed to be a flop – iterative, lacking features, and relying too heavily on AI. Yet, it shattered records in South Korea, and initial reports showed it outselling its predecessor by a landslide. But a deeper dive into the numbers reveals a baffling contradiction: daily post-launch sales figures that simply don't align with the reported totals. How can a phone sell more units per day after launch than its entire first-month sales figure? The answer, it seems, is a mystery wrapped in conflicting data.

The saga of Samsung's intriguing Multi-Fold device, now dubbed the Galaxy G Fold, continues to unfold. From a revealing patent in January, showcasing a unique triple-folding design, to a blurry render leaked in February, the device has captured the attention of tech enthusiasts. Now, new information has surfaced, confirming model numbers and regional availability, raising questions about its potential global release. With whispers of a Q3 or Q4 launch, the G Fold's journey from patent to reality is becoming increasingly clear, though its availability may be limited initially.

Even though I’ve spent a lot more time here covering the Galaxy Z Fold7, I have to acknowledge that the Galaxy Z Flip series is the better selling of the two. Coming in at darn near a grand less expensive and in a form factor that more people probably enjoy, the Z Flip has been Samsung’s entry point into foldables nearly from the start.

At long last the One UI 7 Beta has arrived on the Galaxy Z Fold6, bringing with it a massive list of changes. Many features from the new Galaxy S 25 Ultra have made their way over, which is great to see. Here’s the full changelog.

One of the most significant barriers to purchase for many consumers considering foldable phones is the fragility of their Ultra-Thin Glass screens. Now that we have renders and dimensions for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7, I thought it might be useful to take a look at exactly how much larger this new Fold is compared to the Z Fold6 from last year.

All the way back on January 5th I brought you guys news of a patent filed by Samsung for a multi-folding (tri-fold) device. While this patent did show a device that had some similarities to Huawei’s Mate XT, there were at least a few notable differences. Perhaps the most impactful difference is that rather than an “in-and-out” style, this device would see both exterior thirds folding inwards. Samsung Display calls this a G-Flex style device.

As Google releases Android 16 Beta 2 many in the Samsung community are wondering where exactly Android 15 is. The much anticipated One UI 7, which launched on the S25 Series of devices is still nowhere to be seen and today we have update on just how much longer you’ll need to wait… And it’s not great news.

According to insider Ross Young, we now have display sizes for the upcoming Samsung Multi-Fold and the Z Fold7. First officially teased at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event for the S25 series, Young is reporting that the Multi-Fold device will have a 10-inch inner display and a 6.49-inch cover display.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is a Lot Thinner Than We Thought..

Now that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is out in the wild all eyes now turn towards their next big release, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 (no one cares about Edge). Today, we have a handful of rumors from sources that are a bit more dubious than we normally cover, but we’re going to take a look anyways.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is finally here, and it's a complicated beast to review. If I focused solely on its features – the screen, speakers, camera, battery life – you'd walk away thinking it's a top-tier phone. But that's not the whole story. There's crucial context, and ignoring it would paint an incomplete picture. So, let's unpack that context first, then dive into the review.

At time of writing, my Galaxy S25 Ultra is in route to my house and is set to be delivered tomorrow. That’s right, despite the fact that the new S25 phones are like 95% the same as last years, I bought one. Maybe I’m a sucker. To be fair, we do have a new vapor chamber for that new SOC, a new ultrawide camera, gorilla glass armor 2 and more RAM for the lower end models and.. uh.. I guess that’s actually about it.

Samsung did something pretty cool at their Galaxy Unpacked event for the S25 series. They had me fully convinced the show was over before pulling off an honest to god, “but wait, there’s more!” We weren’t sure whether or not we’d see the long rumored Galaxy S25 Slim at this event, with the rumored launch being later this year, but boy did we ever. Samsung showed this neat little animation that showed off some of the internal components, emphasizing the engineering that has gone into the phone.
