You may not realize it, but I’ve been using the Galaxy S23 Ultra for a couple of years now. In many of my videos, that phone has provided the B-Roll and/or the thumbnail admirably. Now, it’s finally time to move on as my brand new S25 Ultra has finally arrived! I snagged the online exclusive Jade color, and in this video, I'm unboxing it and sharing my initial thoughts.

At time of writing, my Galaxy S25 Ultra is in route to my house and is set to be delivered tomorrow. Samsung did something pretty cool at their Galaxy Unpacked event for the S25 series. As part of my job as a full-time tech YouTuber I spend a lot of time reading comments. Probably too much time, if I’m honest. After live streaming that event, I posted a thorough breakdown of most everything that was announced at that event, but there was one tiny detail that I left out because I thought it might be fun to look at one its own. They apparently come from an Automotive Influencer called Chen Zhen who has 9.6M followers. How they ended up with the phone is hard to say, but one might assume that Oppo arranged such a thing to continue building hype. Not a terrible strategy.
