Here’s What’s New in Android 16 Beta 2
As of this morning the second beta for Android 16 is now live for Pixel devices. As usual, I have installed it on my trusty Pixel Fold in order to break down what’s new.
Double Press Power Button
We now have the option to program a double press of the power button to open Google Wallet. This could be really useful to Wallet power users who frequently need to switch which card they’re using.
Switch Users Widget
Google now offers a dedicated widget for switching users. I could see this being handy if you often hand your device off to another person, especially on tablet style devices like the Pixel Tablet.
Text Outlines
The High Contrast Text option is ow called “Text Outlines”
